EP Penalties
To put these values into context, [Storming the Citadel: 25] bosses award 150 Effort Points each. A detailed list of raid instance EP values can be found here.
-200 EP:
- Not being on ventrilo and/or not listening. (Be aware that not being on may result in losing the spot in the raid in addition to the deductions of DKP.)
- Being back late after breaks.
- Not having the correct version of an addon after an update broadcast on the site. (Be aware that not having the mandatory addons installed may result in losing the spot in the raid in addition to the deductions of DKP)
-400 EP:
- Not being ready to pull at raid start if you are signed up and in the raid.
- Not being signed up as either Available, Unavailable or Tentative for a raid 2 hours before it is due to start.
- Going AFK/BRB without getting a positive reply from either RL or RA. (Getting long disconnects or just multiple disconnects can get you replaced as well.)
- Not being prepared (enough consumables, being repaired and so on. Class leader (CL) decides.)
- Not having the required addons installed or after repeated requests over a number of raids to update to the latest addon pack. (Be aware that not having the mandatory addons installed may result in losing the spot in the raid in addition to the deductions of DKP)
- Going offline when you are on the standby list during a raid (You must be on vent on standby to quickly swap you in if needed, you may be in another channel. It is extremely important you are available in some way while on standby, it does not mean you are not raiding that night. You may play and alt if you wish).
-1000 EP:
- Leaving in the middle of the raid.
- Removing your signup after the deadline has gone into effect, the deadline for signup removal is 2 hours before the start of raid invites.
- Not showing up at all if you are signed up for a raid.
- Leaving the raid.
Note that it is possible to get multiple DKP penalties. Penalties will be awarded at a raid leaders discretion... if there is a good reason for failing one of the above categories let the raid leader know, we are human ;)
